CAPRICCIO ITALIANO FESTIVAL è una stagione di concerti dedicata esclusivamente ai grandi compositori italiani (Vivaldi, Corelli, Pergolesi, Caccini, Albinoni, Rossini, Verdi...). I musicisti del Festival sono valenti strumentisti impegnati nella ricerca e nella divulgazione del repertorio strumentale e vocale nato e sviluppatosi in Italia. Le varie formazioni cameristiche propongono un viaggio suggestivo attraverso cinquecento anni di straordinaria fioritura musicale. I brani sono scelti fra i capolavori conosciuti accanto a gemme inedite di grande bellezza.
CAPRICCIO ITALIANO FESTIVAL is a concerts series in Rome fully dedicated to great Italian composers (Vivaldi, Corelli, Pergolesi, Caccini, Albinoni, Rossini, Verdi...). Festival performers are skilful instrumentalists who are committed to the research and promotion of a typically Italian instrumental and vocal repertoire. The different chamber music ensembles will lead you through an evocative 500-year-long journey brimming with extraordinary music. Performances will include masterpieces, as well as stunning unpublished works. 
CAPRICCIO ITALIANO FESTIVAL est une saison de concerts dédiée uniquement aux compositeurs italiens. Les musiciens du Festival sont des valables instrumentistes engagés dans la recherche et dans la divulgation du répertoire instrumental et vocal né et développé en Italie. Les variés formations de la musique de chambre proposent un voyage suggestif à travers cinq cent années de extraordinaire floraison musicale. Le splendide e note composizioni per violino e pianoforte dei grandi autori della musica italiana dell’800 e primi del ‘900, che mettono in risalto il virtuosismo dello strumento, il Principe degli archi, e la spontanea e prorompente cantabilità tipica della musica italiana dell’epoca. Hear the beautiful sound of violin and piano in famous works from the 17th and 18th century. Violinist Flavia Di Tomasso and pianist Michela Senzacqua explore the richness of the sound of Paganini, Tartini, Respighi and Verdi at the Sagrestia del Borromini. |

Bellini, Verdi e Puccini sono comunemente riconosciuti come i maggiori esponenti dell'Opera italiana, ognuno dei quali possiede il proprio genio. Questo viaggio è dedicato a emozioni intime e intense, dove l'irregolarità del timbro e il virtuosismo tecnico sono gli ingredienti principali, quelli che hanno stupito il pubblico del tempo per la loro forza espressiva e la loro purezza del suono. Bellini, Verdi and Puccini are commonly acknowledged as the major exponents of Italian Opera, each of them possessing their own genius. This is a journey dedicated to intimate though intense emotions, where timbre unevenness and technical virtuosity are its major ingredients, which amazed the then audiences for its expressive power and sound purity. |

I grandi autori del Settecento e Ottocento si sperimentano nel repertorio del duo violino e chitarra esplorando la ricchezza delle timbriche e delle sonorità e il virtuosismo degli esecutori, con un’attenzione particolare a Paganini.
